Covenant Church is a fellowship of God’s people who endeavor to be like the Bereans of the Bible, receiving the word of God with great eagerness, and examining the Scriptures daily (Acts 17:11). We are an evangelical, Bible believing congregation who seek to live daily for the glory of God and in service to each other, and to those around us who need to know Jesus Christ.
WHAT WE AFFIRM
Our faith is grounded in the eternal, living Word of God as expressed in the Westminster Standards.
Jesus Christ is the Son of God who died for our sins.
Christ was raised from the grave the third day and is coming again.
The Bible is the inspired, infallible Word of God.
The Bible was given to man to reveal God’s great plan of redemption.
The Holy Spirit was sent by the Father and the Son to convict of sin and to be our counselor, guide and comfort through life.
The Church is called by God to preach the saving gospel of Jesus Christ, to call sinners to repentance and to nurture all who believe.
Worship is to be regulated by God’s Word and is one of the great tools for Christian growth. Worship is to be directed to God and not to man.
